Jonesburg Man Charged With Promoting Child Sex Abuse Material

A Jonesburg man is facing two counts of promoting child sexual abuse material.

Court documents say 30-year-old Tevis Forrest was charged Tuesday and is being held without bond.

According to a probable cause statement, a child victim provided law enforcement with illicit images allegedly taken by Forrest. Investigators say a search of Forrest’s phone later uncovered four videos and an image involving the victim.

Forrest also faces separate charges in two other cases, including domestic assault, burglary and property damage. He has pleaded not guilty to the burglary and property damage charges.
