I-70 Lane Reduction Friday Night

Westbound Interstate 70 will be reduced to one lane overnight Friday in Columbia as crews work on a new ramp at the U.S. 63 connector.

The work is scheduled from 7 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Saturday.

Drivers will be directed over the ramps at Exit 128, and access between the connector and I-70 will be limited.

MoDOT recommends alternate routes through Route 763 and Range Line Street, or Route 740 and Stadium Boulevard.

The work is weather permitting and is part of a $405 million project to add a third lane in each direction between Columbia and Kingdom City.
