A.G. Hanaway Demands Changes at Reign Bar
Missouri Attorney General Catherine Hanaway is demanding changes from the operator of Reign Bar in downtown Columbia, citing what her office calls persistent nuisance conditions and violence around the business.
Hanaway’s office gave Reign Hospitality 14 days to submit a plan addressing the concerns. Possible measures include increased private security and changes to operating hours.
The demand follows several incidents near the bar, including reported gunfire and a large fight.
Hanaway says if the business does not propose and implement adequate solutions, her office will pursue legal action.
