Columbia School Board to Review Bullying Policy

The Columbia School Board will consider changes to the district’s bullying policy at its meeting Monday night.

The revised policy expands who must report and respond to bullying and requires parents or guardians of students involved to receive investigation findings within five school days of the investigation’s completion.

The board will also review special education programs and consider a partnership with the Columbia STEM Alliance that would cost about 37-thousand dollars.

The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Aslin Administration Building on West Worley Street. Two Mile Prairie Elementary students will also present about their agriculture-focused education.
