Two Seriously Hurt in Motorcycle Crash

Two Jefferson City residents are seriously injured after a motorcycle crash Saturday evening in Cooper County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a 68-year-old man was driving southbound on Missouri 5, south of Brumback Road, around 7:10 p.m. when he lost control of the motorcycle.

The bike fell on its side, ejecting both the driver and a 63-year-old female passenger.

Neither was wearing a helmet. Both were taken by ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia with serious injuries.
