Fulton man dies in two car accident in Maries County
An early morning (Wednesday) accident near the Maries and Osage County line, has left three people dead, including a 29-year-old man from Fulton.
The accident happened at 6:05am on US 63, about halfway between Vienna and Freeburg, when a northbound orange 2023 Buick Encore attempted to pass a tractor trailer, hydroplaned and struck a southbound white 2016 Ford F150.
The 30-year-old female driver of the Encore was killed as well as a 31-year-old male occupant, both were from Dixon. A 29-year-old male occupant from Fulton had moderate injuries in the crash.
Meanwhile, a 27-year-old man from Fulton, who was driving the pickup, was seriously injured. His 29-year-old male passenger was killed and a 21-year-old male passenger was received moderate injuries.
The three were transported by Osage County Ambulance to Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City.
