Moberly sewer problems continue

The City of Moberly has set a noon deadline today for repairs or a detailed repair timeline after a wastewater pump station failed at Moberly Mobile Home Park last week.

The failure has led to possible water contaimination in the affected area. The city has decided to Take measures

This outage affects about 25-30 residences.

The City has been in consultation with the Randolph County Health Department and Missouri Department of Natural Resources to ensure all regulatory and safety protocols are followed throughout this process.

McGarvey stresses this is an isolated event.

In the meantime, the United Way is mobilizing for the affected residents through its community connections.
The property management company has expressed its intention to complete the necessary repairs, but has not given a timetable for those repairs.
