Former Moberly Daycare Owner Faces Sentencing
A former Moberly daycare owner is scheduled to be sentenced today after pleading guilty to four counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
Naomi Hess previously pleaded guilty in a case involving allegations of physical and emotional abuse at her daycare, Play N’ Learn. The allegations involved three two-year-olds and a three-year-old.
Hess was originally charged with four counts of abuse or neglect of a child and voluntarily surrendered her daycare license in August 2024.
Her sentencing hearing is scheduled for 2:30 this afternoon.
