William Woods University in Fulton is announcing changes to the 2021 Spring semester. The start date is a week later than originally planned, now set for Tuesday, January 19th. Spring break is canceled and the last day of classes is now Friday, April 23rd.
The Callaway County Health Department is announcing the county’s sixth death due to COVID-19. The information was posted on their website this (Friday) afternoon. There are 966 total cases in the county with 723 recoveries. No other information on the deceased was made available.
A fourth COVID-19 death in Callaway County was reported yesterday (Wednesday) by the Callaway County Health Department. The county also reported 18 new active cases yesterday bringing that total to 124. Callaway County has had 770 total cases of the coronavirus since the pandemic began with 642 recoveries.
Boone County has been taken out of the red zone on the latest White House COVID-19 Task Force report.
