Both eastbound lanes of I-70 are back open after being shut down due to a multiple vehicle crash this (Thursday) morning.
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol the crash happened at the 122.0 mile marker between the Stadium and Midway exits.
The accident occured when a 2000 Ram truck hit a patch of ice on the Perche Creek Bridge, slid off the road and hit the bridge rail.
When it returned back on the highway it hit another truck twice.
