Second Phase of Roadwork to Begin

The second phase of construction work on a more than 20 mile span of U.S. Route 24 is set to begin on April 10.

The resurfacing and shoulder improvement project began last August in Randolph County. During this construction season, crews from Capital Paving and Construction will begin working in Chariton County.

The work area will span from Missouri Route 5 in Keytesville and will continue to the Randolph County line.

Work is expected to be completed by the end of June.

During construction, traffic will be reduced to one lane at various locations between 7AM and 7PM Monday through Friday, and occasionally on Saturday.
