An investigation into a suspicious death is ongoing in Jefferson City.
According to Jefferson City Police they responded to an assault call at the 1400 block of East Miller Street just after 11 last (Thursday) night.
Police say they found a 63 year old man suffering from a number of wounds.
The man was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
Police say they have not yet determined how the man got the wounds, and very little information is able to be released as of yet.
