A shooting investigation in Jefferson is underway after a man suffers a gun shot wound last (Tuesday) night.
According to Jefferson City Police it happened just after 9 in the 600 block of East McCarty.
Police report multiple shell casings were found.
An unknown male was taken to an area hospital to be treated for his injuries.
