A Mexico man gets 5 years in prison after pleading guilty to possession of a controlled substance.
According to court records 47 year old Michael Lavender appeared in a Callaway County Court on Monday and admitted to possession of meth.
The judge recommended that Lavendar complete a long term substance abuse program before being considered for release.
