A 75 year old Cairo woman is dead after a two car accident in Randolph County yesterday (Thursday) afternoon.
According to the highway patrol it happened just before 3’oclock on U.S. 63, two miles north of Cairo.
A vehicle had slowed to make a right hand turn and was hit from behind causing both of the vehicles to overturn.
Marlene A. Mathis was pronounced deceased at the Moberly Regional Hospital by the Randolph County Coroner.
32 year old James P. Hartung suffered moderate injuries in the accident.
