A South Callaway High School student was detained yesterday [friday] morning after allegedly displaying a knife and assaulting deputies.
The Sheriff’s office reports deputies were dispatched to the school after the 15 year old displayed the knife to a staff member, and had assaulted a school administrator.
When deputies attempted to take the child into custody, the juvenile assaulted 2 of the deputies.
The teen was taken to the Callaway County Sheriff’s Office and released to the custody of the juvenile office with charges of unlawful use of a weapon, armed criminal action resisting arrest and assault.
