The National Weather Service has confirmed an EF-1 tornado that lasted from 4:54 to 5:09 PM yesterday afternoon in Randolph County. [Monday]
The tornado reportedly produced winds of around 100 miles per hour.
The path of the tornado was 11.2 miles, and approximately 30 yards wide.
Several homes and outhouses in Renick and Higbee were destroyed, and 2 people were injured.
The storm then moved into Monroe County.
