Crime is down in Mexico according to numbers compiled from last year (2017) by the Mexico Public Safety Department.
Chief of the Mexico Police Department Susan Rockett says the total number of calls they responded to last year was 27,089.
Chief Rockett says the number of major crimes is down the number in 2017 was 312, in 2016 it was 378, and a high of 447 in 2013.
