The Audrain County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate after the death of 19 year old Antonio Jefferson on December 12, on an Audrain County Road.
Sheriff Matt Oller says there have been very few leads in the case, and detectives are following up every time one comes in.
Oller says it is still early on in the investigation.
Deputies were dispatched to a car crash on Audrain County Road 913. Jefferson was located a short distance from the flaming car with a wound inconsistent with a car accident. He was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
Detectives are still looking for any information on Jefferson’s movements between 11:30 AM and Noon on December 12.
