The Audrain County Emergency Management Department is reminding folks about safety on the road with the flash flood watch in the area for this weekend.
Department director Nicholas Tietsort says he is reminding motorists in the area on what to do with the potential for hazardous road conditions.
Tietsort says he was in meetings with the Red Cross yesterday (Thursday) about shelter programs and reaffirmed that plans are in place to keep the public safe with weather events like flash flooding.
Audrain County is predicted to get anywhere from 3-6 inches of rain between now and Sunday night.
