The Callaway County Sheriff’s Department arrested during a traffic stop after he was found to be in possession of weapons.
Brett Welsh was taken into custody yesterday [Monday] when a search of the car revealed 2 guns and a silencer.
Welsh is a convicted felon, prohibited from possessing firearms.
He was formally charged today with 2 counts of unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of an illegal weapon and driving while revoked.
