The City of Columbia will be holding 2 public meetings regarding the potential licensing, taxation and regulation of short term rentals in the city. Currently the city does not tax or regulate short term rentals beyond a voluntary health and safety inspection. Among the considerations of additional health and safety regulations, the public is asked to consider neighborhood protection standards.
