Columbia To Hold Public Meetings

The City of Columbia will be holding 2 public meetings regarding the potential licensing, taxation and regulation of short term rentals in the city.

Currently the city does not tax or regulate short term rentals beyond a voluntary health and safety inspection.

Among the considerations of additional health and safety regulations, the public is asked to consider neighborhood protection standards.

The meetings will take place Monday, February 26 and Wednesday, February 28 at the Walton Building at 300 South Providence,
