Major League Baseball announced pace of play rule changes today. [Monday]
Most notably in the rule changes, a pitch clock will not be implemented, however, there will be limit on mound visits.
Teams will now get 6 mound visits per game, plus one additional mound visit for every extra inning played.
A mound visit includes a manager or coach meeting with the pitcher, a player leaving his position to confer with the pitcher, or a pitcher leaving the mound to confer with another player, regardless of where the visit occurs.
There are exceptions to the rule, such as a pitcher and catcher conference between batters, or injury.
Additionally, commercial breaks in games will be shorter. In regular season games, commercials will be limited to 2 minutes and 5 seconds, in a nationally televised game, 2 minutes and 25 seconds and in postseason games 2 minutes and 55 seconds.
The Mizzou Wrestling Team has concluded the regular season with a perfect record.
The Tigers took down Northern Iowa over weekend to reach the 19 and 0 mark for the second time in program history.
The number 3 ranked Mizzou will defend their conference championship March 4th and 5th in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan for they 7th consecutive time.
