The State Champions of Class 2 Wrestling Mexico Bulldogs celebrated with the town on yesterday (Sunday) afternoon. Head Coach Gayle Adams and Crew showed off their hardware and talked about their historic run.
The Mexico girls and boys basketball teams will begin district play in Hannibal tonight (Monday).
The Mexico Girls are up first against the Fulton Hornets at 4:30.
Mexico defeated Fulton last week on Thursday, on the road.
The lady dogs come in with a 10-10 record while the lady Hornets are 2-17.
The Mexico boys are trying to keep their season alive when they face St. Dominic.
The Bulldogs are coming off of a nine point loss to Fulton on Friday night.
Mexico is 12-8 and St. Dominic is 11-8. Tip off is 6.

The 11th ranked Missouri Women’s Basketball team fell to the 17th ranked Texas A and M Aggies 82-63 yesterday (Sunday).
It was the final regular season game, Mizzou finished tied for fourth overall in the SEC standings, and will be the 6 seed in the upcoming SEC Tournament with a bye in the first round.
The lady Tigers will play the winner of the Florida-Ole Miss game on Thursday night at 8:30pm.
The Missouri Baseball Tigers dropped the final contest of its season opening, 8 game road trip 4-2 to Northeastern yesterday (Sunday) afternoon.
Mizzou went 5-3 on the road trip.
The Tigers start a 10 game home-stand starting tomorrow (Tuesday) night when they begin a 2 game series with Alabama A and M.
