AHS Trivia Night Has Record Year

The Audrain Humane Society held their trivia night on Saturday, and had a record year.

Cathy Foreman, President of the AHS Board, says the estimate that was raised was around $4600.

Nearly 170 people participated in the event to raise money for shelter pets. Foreman says the money raised goes to help pay for spay and neutering at Mexico Animal Hospital for all pets adopted from the Mexico Animal Shelter.

Additionally, the money provides Audrain residents with a discount to get their pets fixed.

Three thousand dollars are going to purchasing a 3 thousand dollar computer program to assist in tracking animals that are adopted from the shelter.IMG950239
