KXEO Sports Report for 3/16/18-Missouri Tigers Men’s Basketball Start March, Rock Bridge Boys Basketball Edged Out, Cards Shut Out, Blues Lose Ground

The Rock Bridge Boys Basketball Team season ended last night in the Class 5 State Tournament to Chaminade 80-77.

The Bruins ended their season with 27 wins and 2 losses.


Chaminade will play Webster Groves in the Championship Game tomorrow (Saturday) at 4:30.

The Missouri Tigers begin their march in the NCAA tournament tonight (Friday) against the Florida State Seminoles.

The Tigers are playing for the first time since they last in the SEC Tournament 62-60 to the Georgia Bulldogs.

The Tigers are making their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2013 and looking for their win in the big dance since 2010.

The St. Louis Cardinals were blanked 1-0 by the Baltimore Orioles in Spring Training yesterday (Thursday).

The offense was scarce with Dexter Fowler, Jedd Gyorko, and Luke Voit the only Cardinals with hits in the game.

The Kansas City Royals offense exploded on the Los Angeles Dodgers with a 14-8 win.

Kansas City scored six runs in the first inning.

The St. Louis Blues had their two game winning streak come to an end last (Thursday) night losing to the Colorado Avalanche 4-1.

The Blues could have moved within a point of Colorado for the second wild-card spot with a win, but instead find themselves four points back with only 12 games remaining.
