Greitens To Face Jury

In a hearing held today, the judge overseeing the criminal case against Governor Eric Greitens decided his case would be heard by a jury.

The defense team for the Governor had previously requested a bench trial due to publicity from media coverage.

Greitens was indicted by a grand jury in February on one count of invasion of privacy for allegedly taking a nude photo of his mistress without her consent.

Greitens request to move the trial to a date in the beginning of April was also denied. He trial will continue as scheduled to begin on May 14.
