Audrain Deputies Arrest Four

Audrain County deputies arrested 4 people while serving a warrant for one person at America Value Inn in Mexico yesterday. [Thursday]

Deputies arrived at the motel to serve an arrest warrant to 28 year old Brittany Snyder for failure to appear on numerous felony drug violations. During the arrest, drug related items were found in her room, and new distribution of controlled substance charges are being brought.


While at the scene, deputies spotted 29 year old David Cox, who also had warrants for burglary, assault and property damage. When the deputy approached him, he attempted to flee on foot and was apprehended. A struggle ensued and Cox was taken to the hospital to receive stitches before being transported to the jail.

A woman staying in Cox’s room, identified as 20 year old Casey Reichers, consented to a search, and deputies found drug paraphernalia on her person, and a further search of her at the jail revealed drugs in her under clothes.

Lastly, Loran Meek was spotted driving through the parking lot, and did not possess a license. She was arrested after K9 officer, Chal, indicated drugs in her vehicle.

All were taken to the Audrain County Jail.
