The Fulton Middle School is getting ready to try a new truancy program.
Superintendent of Fulton Schools Dr. Jacque Cowherd says it is a county wide effort with the court system and William Woods University.
Cowerd says it will target middle school kids with less than 90 percent attendance.
William Woods University will have law students as mentors.
The program is slated to start in August when school starts up again.
