The Miller County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a teacher in the School of the Osage District for having sexual contact with students.
According to the department, investigators received complaint yesterday evening [Wednesday]. The children involved were interviewed by a forensic interviewer and with the cooperation and assistance of the school district, evidence was collected related to this case.
The teacher was identified as Mark Alan Edwards. He admitted he had inappropriate contact with students from the school.
Edwards is charged with Statutory Sodomy in the first degree and sexual contact with a student.
His bond is set at 300 thousand dollars.
