It was a good performance for the Mexico High School track team at the state meet over the weekend.

Jasean White is a state champion in the long jump with a distance of 22’9.25.


Moenasia Sidique set a new Mexico High School record breaking hear previous record with a 58.53 and a 2nd place finish.

Terrese Aaron his a 6th place finish in Discus with a 152’4 throw.

The St. Louis Cardinals launched a come from behind 6-4 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates yesterday (Sunday).

The Redbirds scored three runs in the eighth inning to erase a 4-3 Pirates lead.

St. Louis took 2 out of 3 games from the Buckos for the series win.

Cardinals reliever Bud Norris picked up the save who is no 11 for 11 in save opportunities.

The Kansas City Royals defeated the Texas Rangers 5-3.

Royals first baseman Hunter Dozier is continuing to produce putting up his third multi-hit game.


The Cleveland Cavaliers will be making another NBA Finals appearance after taking game 7 from the Boston Celitcs 87-79 last (Sunday) night.

Lebron James was clutch scoring 35 points with 15 rebounds and nine assists.


James is making his 8th consecutive NBA Finals appearance.

Game 1 one is Thursday between the Cavs and the winner of the Houston Rockets, Golden State Warriors game tonight (Monday).
