The Callaway County Sheriff’s Office is announcing they are instituting a permanent drug take back collection unit in the lobby of the office.
The unit will allow citizens an opportunity to safely and secure dispose of unneeded or unwanted prescription and over the counter medications 24 hours a day, and 7 days a week.
No needles, sharps or compressed air cylinders will be accepted.
Opaque bags available at the drop off box will promote security and obscure personal information.
