The Missouri House Panel that was investigating former Governor Eric Greitens is dropping their attempt to get records related to a secretive nonprofit group that had supported him.
A hearing with a judge was scheduled for today (Thursday) on whether to continue enforcing a House subpoena for records from Greitens’ campaign and a pro-Greitens group.
The hearing was canceled after the House committee’s attorney notified a judge in the case yesterday (Wednesday) that it is withdrawing its request to enforce the subpoena.
