The Mexico man accused of murdering his girlfriend near Middle Grove in April is waiving a preliminary hearing.
51 year old James Addie was in a Monroe County Court with his attorneys yesterday (Tuesday) accused of first degree murder and armed criminal action in the shooting death of 35 year old Molly Watson of Huntsville.
According to court records Watson’s body was found on the ground near her vehicle east of Highway 151 and Route M in Monroe County.
Addie told police he was married to his wife for 22 years, and had been in a relationship with Watson for 7 years.
Addie was supposed to marry Watson in Columbia two days after she was found dead.
He is now set to be arraigned in court on July 5th.
