Jury Deliberating On Sentence For Man Convicted Of 2013 Murder

A jury is still deciding what the sentence will be for Jeffery Nichols.

Nichols was found guilty of first degree murder late Thursday night.

He was convicted of killing Carmelita Kaser on Easter Sunday in 2013.

Nichols and Christopher Lewis went to her home and killed her with a machete like knife.

The jury met again Friday morning, but have not yet decided to Nichols will be put to death for the crime.

Deliberations will continue today. [Saturday]
