Higher Gas Prices This Fourth of July

Gas prices are estimated to be the highest they have been in four years this Fourth of July.

According to a study conducted by GasBuddy drivers will spend 1.2 billion dollars more at the gas pump this year than last year.

In Missouri the average price per gallon is $2.62, almost .65 cents more when compared to last year.

Triple A says nearly 40 million Americans will be traveling by car, a 5.3 percent increase from last year.
