A report of a girl running from the Midway Travel Center in Boone County yesterday (Thursday) afternoon had multiple law enforcement agencies searching the area.
According to the Boone County Fire Protection District a daycare worker described the child as a white 13 year old girl, with brown, shoulder length hair wearing an olive green shirt.
A drone team used thermal imaging to search a field and a wooded area however nothing was found.
The scene was cleared around 6:15 last (Thursday) night.
