The Kansas City Royals have now lost 10 games in a row after being defeated 3-1 by the Minnesota Twins last (Monday) night.
Alcides Escobar delivered the Royals lone run with an RBI double in the third inning.
The Royals have lost 28 of 32 and have not won a series since the end of May.
In other Royals news they have signed a 16 year old Japanese Pitcher.
Kansas City signed Kaito Yuki to a minor league contract on Sunday with a three hundred twenty two thousand five hundred dollar signing bonus.
Yuki is thought to be the first Japanese junior high school player to sign with a major league club.
He is headed to the Royals instead of attending high school in Japan.
