Missouri Attorney General and U.S. Senate hopeful, Josh Hawley was in Mexico today [Tuesday] as part of his 100 stop working tour.
Hawley heard about Mid-America Biofuels, and the took a tour of the plant to understand how biofuels are made and what they are used for.
Hawley says that farming is a crucial part of Missouri’s economy.
When asked about recent tariffs that have been imposed on soybeans, he said he supports President Donald Trump trying to get a better deal for farmers, but would not support a measure that is a detriment to Missouri.
Mexico was the 13th stop on Hawley’s tour.
