No one was injured when a fire broke out at the Mexico Memorial airport at around 11:37 this morning.
According to Mexico Public Safety, crews discovered a lawn mower had malfunctioned causing the blaze. The driver of the mower attempted to drive it across the field, spreading the fire.
The lawn mower incurred extensive damage, and a large portion of grass around the runway was burned.
