The Callaway County Sheriff’s Office is asking residents in the Calwood and Kingdom City areas to secure their vehicles and be alert.
Sergeant Scott White of the Missouri State Highway Patrol says at 11:55 this morning [Wednesday] troopers initiated a traffic stop when the vehicle fled, and exited in the area of the 152 mile marker.
A computer check revealed the car had been stolen from Colorado.
At around 2:00, one man was taken into custody in relation to the incident between Route Z and Interstate 70. Investigators are still looking for one man and possibly a woman.
The outstanding male suspect is described as being white, with a slim build and dark hair in a bun. He is in his 20’s and wearing a gray tank top.
Anyone with information should call law enforcement immediately.
