Mizzou Sees Increase In Freshman Enrollment

Classes at the University of Missouri began today with a freshman class of 4,696 students.

The number is a 13.1 percent increase from last year, and the largest increase in 10 years.


The school is also saying they have achieved an 87.3 percent retention rate, the highest in the school’s history.

Despite the increase in the freshman population, the University has experienced a 3.7 percent decrease in total enrollment.
