Marceline Man Accused Of Threatening Police With a Knife In Callaway County

A Marceline man is now charged with felony weapon’s offenses accused of threatening police in Callway County with a knife and a hammer.

According to the Callaway County Sheriff’s Department it happened last week on Friday, when 40 year old William Cash was in the middle of a disturbance in the 4200 block of Mac Road.

Deputies report Cash left the area and they later found him armed with a hammer and a large knife.

After a 28 minute standoff with Cash allegedly made threatening movements towards deputies and troopers with his knife.

A Callaway County Deputy tasered Cash and he was arrested and then hospitalized.

He was a wanted fugitive in Randolph County for probation violation.
