Delays On Westbound I-70 Near Highway 63 After Tractor Trailer Accident

Traffic is being diverted this (Wednesday) morning around a crash involving a tractor trailer on Westbound I-70 in Columbia near  Highway 63.

According to reports a semi truck crashed under the Highway 63 bridge around 4:30 this (Wednesday) morning and all Westbound lanes of traffic are closed while crews work to clear the scene.

Warnings are posted as far back as Lake of the Woods Exit and motorists are being warned about delays and asked to use an alternate route as the lanes are expected to remain closed for an extended period of time.
