Cole County Judge Dismisses Case To Remove Medical Marijuana From November Ballot
A lawsuit seeking to remove the medical marijuana initiative form the November ballot in Missouri is now dismissed.
Cole County Judge Patricia Joyce made her ruling yesterday (Friday).
Brad Bradshaw a Springfield doctor and attorney had argued that New Approach Missouri unlawfully obtained signatures to get the measure on the ballot.
Judge Joyce says the secretary of state has certified enough signatures were collected to get the measure on the ballot, and the only relevant issue is whether the signatures were from registered voters.
