Traffic Crashes and Fatalities Down On Missouri Highways From Last Year’s Labor Day Counting Period

The Missouri Highway Patrol is releasing the Labor Day Holiday statistics.

The patrol responded to 258 crashes with 5 fatalities and 97 DWI’s.

On the water no fatalities with 9 crashes.

The number of crashes and fatalities are down this year compared to last year when 313 crashes were investigated with 11 fatalities.

The counting period began at 6 pm Friday, August 31st and ended last (Monday) night at 11:59.
