Arrest Made In Child Abuse Investigation In Columbia

An arrest is now made in Columbia in a child abuse investigation.

Columbia Police report going to Women’s and Children’s hospital last (Monday) night in regards to a four year old who was being treated for serious injuries.

Authorities sent forensic evidence technicians to collect evidence at a house in the Lakewood Apartments at Old Highway 63 at Walnut Street in Columbia.

As a result of the investigation, 27 year old Tabitha L. Sallee was arrested for Abuse or Neglect of a Child and Making a False Police Report.

Bond has not been set and the investigation is ongoing.
