New Bicentennial license plates will be distributed in Missouri over the next couple of years.
The design red, white and blue.
It will be replacing the bluebird sign which has been used since 2008.
The plates are estimated to be in place before 2021 when the state celebrates its 200th anniversary.
Cost of the new plates are around 17 million dollars, and will be recouped by the state by charging extra fees for regular and personalized plates.
