The cause of a fire at a vacant house in Mexico last (Wednesday) night is under investigation.
According to Mexico Public Safety it happened just after 8:30 last night in the 500 block of Martin Luther King Drive.
According to Public Safety evidence indicated that people had been using the house, and there were indications of drinking, smoking, and firework use in and around the house.
The front of the house had significant fire damage and the back had heat and smoke damage.
No injuries were reported.
